Good morning, Roadrunners Fam. UTSA and Rice will meet for the 12th time tomorrow night in Houston, matching North Texas for the most-played opponent in program history. The Roadrunners have won the last eight meetings and lead the all-time series 8-3. UTSA holds a 3-2 series edge in games played in Houston, including a 41-7 victory in 2022 that secured the Conference USA regular season crown and a spot in the league’s championship game.

🔼 A Singular Sensation. The 2024-25 UTSA Men’s and Women’s Basketball seasons are among the most highly anticipated campaigns in school history. Single-game tickets for both programs are now on sale.

🔼 Hey, Hey … It’s J.J … Again. On Wednesday, Her Hoop Stats officially released the 2025 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Watch List, with redshirt senior Jordyn Jenkins representing the UTSA women’s basketball program for the second consecutive year. The 25-player watchlist features representatives from 22 teams and 15 conferences.

The Kent, Washington native was sidelined for the majority of the 2023-24 campaign but immediately made an impact upon her return. Appearing in the final 12 games of the season, she averaged 17.1 PPG and 6.8 RPG with 15 steals and 13 blocks despite a minute restriction.
