🍼 Double Duty
🏀 Already Standing Out
🤙🏼 And much, much more!

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Getting The W. UTSA soccer beat South Florida, 2-1, last night behind goals from Michelle Polo and Kameron Kloza! Polo opened the scoring, giving the Roadrunners a 1-0 advantage just before the half, on this beautiful goal. Kloza would later bury the game-winner in the 77th minute to cement the victory for UTSA. Goalie Jasmine Kessler added five saves for the Roadrunners, who will next play on Oct. 19 against Tulsa.

🔼 Double Duty. This fall, UTSA women’s basketball guard Siena Guttadauro is balancing two titles — student-athlete and new mom — and embracing both with grit and grace. After stepping away last year upon learning she was pregnant, Siena welcomed her son, Dante, in July and returned to campus determined to keep chasing her basketball dreams. With the unwavering support of her coaches, teammates, and family, including her parents who relocated to San Antonio to help, she’s finding her rhythm on and off the court.

🔼 Already Standing Out. Junior Idara Udo landed on the Preseason All-Conference First Team ahead of the UTSA women’s basketball’s new season! Udo closed out last year with Second-Team All-Conference honors after leading the American Conference in offensive rebounds.

As a team, UTSA earned 119 preseason points, including one first-place vote, and is projected to finish second in the conference in the preseason poll.

🔼 Preseason Recognition. UTSA junior Vasean Allette also earned honors from the American Conference before a new season of men’s hoops tips off. Allette was selected to the Preseason All-Conference Second Team, while the Roadrunners were picked 11th in the Preseason Coaches’ Poll. Allette, a transfer from TCU, played with Team Canada’s U23 National Team this year.

🔼 Hold Serve. UTSA women’s tennis is taking the court at the ITA DI Women’s Texas Regional Championships! The tournament got underway yesterday and continues through Oct. 14 in Fort Worth. Seven Roadrunners are scheduled to complete in the singles event, while four pairings will represent UTSA in doubles.
