Good morning, Roadrunners Fam. On Saturday, the UTSA women's basketball team made history as they picked up a 60-53 American Athletic Conference road victory over Tulsa. The 'Runners collected their 12th win of the season, and a 12-2 record reflects the program's best-ever through 14 games. It was also the 50th win during Head Coach Karen Aston's tenure.

🔼 Tap, Tap. Is This Thing On? 🎤 The fourth season of The UTSA Basketball Show will premiere at 7:00 PM CST tonight, live on iHeartRadio’s Sports Radio The Ticket 760 (KTKR-AM). The one-hour show will air live from Chicken N Pickle on UTSA Boulevard.
Fans are invited to join both UTSA head men's basketball coach Austin Claunch and head women's basketball coach Karen Aston as well as host Andy Everett for the one-hour radio show through the end of the season (note dates listed above).
🔼 Keepin’ It in the Family. Family has always been the most important thing in Idara Udo’s life.
Udo is a first-generation American as her parents, Ituru Inim and Efrung Udo, immigrated from Nigeria in their late 20s. She takes great pride in both her Nigerian heritage and in the opportunities afforded to her.
“The chance to represent my parents and represent the sacrifices they made for me is something that I’ll forever hold close to my heart,” Udo said.

🔼 Incoming (Golden) Hurricane. The UTSA men’s basketball team plays host to its American Athletic Conference home opener on Tuesday, welcoming Tulsa to the Convocation Center at 7:00 PM CST. Fans in attendance will receive a complimentary Coach Austin Claunch Bobblehead, while supplies last.

🔼 Challenge Accepted. Opening the first year for the UTSA men’s tennis team under the guidance of Sasha Gozun, the Roadrunners are preparing for a 17-match schedule with a mid-season tournament.
The Roadrunners open with a big one, heading to College Station to take on Texas A&M on January 19. The Aggies finished 16th in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll last season after a 20-11 season ended in the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
🔼 It’s an Honor Just to Nominate 😁. Nominations for the 2025 UTSA Athletics Hall of Fame Class are open through March 31.
To celebrate its rich history, the athletics department launched the UTSA Athletics Hall of Fame in 2023. UTSA unveiled its inaugural Hall of Fame Class of McKenzie Adams (volleyball/women’s basketball), Devin Brown (men’s basketball), Marcus Davenport (football) and Tameka Roberts (track & field/women’s basketball), as well as former head football coach Larry Coker and former athletics director Lynn Hickey in 2023.
