Good morning, Roadrunners Fam. The UTSA women’s basketball team looks to set a school record with its 12^th consecutive home victory tomorrow when it plays host to Temple at the Convo.

Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. CT, and the game is part of Rowdy Rodeo Weekend! It will be a perfect outing for the whole family, featuring a Family Fun Zone with an inflatable jump house, face painter, and photo booth. Fans will receive a free foam Cowboy hat and will have a chance to win San Antonio Rodeo tickets.

🔼 Here’s to Heroes, Good Health and Hoops. Join UT Health San Antonio and UTSA Athletics in a Salute to Healthcare during the Roadrunners' WBB game vs. North Texas on Tuesday, Feb. 4.

As part of the UTSA Athletics Salute to Hometown Heroes, each UT Health San Antonio student will receive one free ticket to the game, with the opportunity to purchase discounted $9 guest tickets.

🔼 Courting Success. UTSA’s Danijal Muminovic has been named the AAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week. This is the first AAC weekly honor for the Roadrunners since joining the conference last season and the first weekly conference honor for Muminovic.

Senior Muminovic won both his singles and double matches against UT Rio Grande Valley on Saturday, granting UTSA its first win and the first win of the Sasha Gozun era. With a 7-5 victory alongside partner Enzo Vargas, Muminovic clinched the doubles point and then delivered a commanding solo victory to earn the first UTSA singles point.

 🔼 Don’t Let Softball Season Sneak Up. The start of the UTSA softball season is only a week away, and season tickets start at $65!

Your Wendy’s Woman of the Month is UTSA women’s tennis player Ekua Youri!

Recently, the duo of Valeria Sanchez and Ekua Youri opened the Jan. 25 match against Texas State by taking down Tadiwa Mauchi and Ireland Simme of Texas State 6-0. However, UTSA fell in their other two doubles matches to give Texas State a 1-0 lead.

The Roadrunners bounced back as Youri handled her opponent, Callie Creath, with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 2, equaling the match at 1-1.
