📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Hometown Team. UTSA baseball’s Jordan Ballin grew up rooting for the Roadrunners; last season, he helped the team post a historic season. Here’s what that meant to him.

🔼 Go For Gold. UTSA track & field is bringing two gold medals back to San Antonio! Jemuel Miller and Mia Lien each earned golds at the R.A. Murray Faksen ‘38 Indoor Track over the weekend. Miller, a three-time All-American, won the triple jump with a 15.69, while Lien, a two-time All-American, won the final women’s field event of the meet.

🔼 In Memoriam. UTSA track & field mourns the passing of former coach James Blackwood, who passed away on Jan. 22 at the age of 84. Blackwood served on the coaching staff from 1999-2000 and again from 2007-08, and spent the last seven seasons as head coach of the women’s program.

🔼 Spring Win. UTSA women’s tennis secured a 5-2 win over St. Mary’s to open the season last week. It’s the third straight year that the Roadrunners have opened the season with a victory. UTSA is back on the court on Friday, Jan. 30 against Abilene Christian on the road at 11 a.m.
