🔼 Let’s Play Ball. On Tuesday, head UTSA softball coach Vann Stuedeman officially announced the 2025 schedule, as the Roadrunners will play a 56-game slate, including 33 at Roadrunner Field. Season tickets are currently available at goUTSA.com/sbtickets and start at $65.

The ‘Runners will open the 2025 campaign, hosting the first of three home tournaments, with the UTSA Invitational seeing Weber State, SIU-Edwardsville, and UMass Lowell in Military City USA from Feb. 7-9.

🔼 ‘Runners Fans = Best Fans. It was another record-setting fall for UTSA Athletics in its second season as a member of the American Athletic Conference. As part of the department’s impressive trajectory, fans have continued to support the Roadrunners with record-breaking attendance and ticket sales figures.

🔼 Make Way For JJ. Redshirt senior Jordyn Jenkins has earned her third consecutive and fifth American Athletic Conference Player of the Week award of the season. Jenkins has now earned 11 Player of the Week awards (4x CUSA, 1x Pac-12, 6x AAC) across her collegiate tenure.

Jenkins nearly averaged a double-double across road victories over Memphis and UAB, averaging 19.0 PPG and 9.5 RPG with three steals and two blocks. She first scored 17 with 10 boards in a 70-68 comeback win against the Tigers before logging 21 points and nine rebounds in a 73-63 conquering of the Blazers.

🔼 Right On Track. Coming off a very successful week at the Lumberjack Team Challenge in Flagstaff, Arizona, the UTSA track and field teams celebrated 15 medals with six gold-medal performances and a pair of new records. There’s even more reason to celebrate, as officials from the AAC have announced that Ida Breigan and Shadae Findley have earned both weekly conference Athlete of the Week awards.

Winner of the AAC Field Athlete of the Week, Breigan picked up right where she left off last season in the long jump, shooting to the top of the AAC standings and ranking fifth nationally after producing a gold-medal 6.50m (21-4) measurement on her fifth jump in Arizona. Making her UTSA debut as the AAC Track Athlete of the Week, Findley clocked a 53.98 in the 400-meter, edging .30 seconds ahead of Paige Patterson’s eight-year-old school record.
