Brew-1-0 1/19: Big Competition

Good Morning, UTSA Fam. UTSA (9-7, 4-1 American) cruised past Florida Atlantic (8-10, 2-4 American) 79-42 on Friday night in Boca Raton.
Senior Ereauna Hardaway led the way with a season-high 20 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Cheyenne Rowe added 19 points, eight boards, and two blocks, while freshman Adriana Robles chipped in 10 points.
The Roadrunners dominated statistically, shooting 54% from the floor to FAU's 28%. UTSA outscored the Owls by 12 in the paint, grabbed eight more rebounds, and dished out 12 more assists.
UTSA is back home on Tuesday, playing host to East Carolina at 6:30 p.m. at the Convocation Center. Buy tickets here!

🔼 Big Competition. The Roadrunners are set to host the UTSA Invitational Feb. 6-8 at Roadrunner Field, welcoming Power 4 programs Nebraska, Texas, and Washington.
The field includes 2025 National Champion Longhorns, who went 56-12 and won the school's first softball title. The four teams have combined for 31 College World Series appearances and two national championships.
UTSA faces Washington (Feb. 6, 3:35 p.m.), Nebraska (Feb. 7, 6:05 p.m.), and Texas (Feb. 8, 3:05 p.m.

🔼 Astros Caravan. UTSA will host the Houston Astros Caravan on Jan. 23, at the central plaza near the Rowdy statue on campus. The event is free and open to the public. Astros players will sign autographs alongside UTSA baseball team members. Fans can take photos with the Astros' 2017 and 2022 World Series trophies. Free food will be available for students while supplies last.
🔼 Mark Your Calendar. The 2026 outdoor track & field slate is in! The season gets underway on March 20 at the UTSA Invitational and will wrap up at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon from June 10-13. Full details here.
