🤙 The Official Newsletter For UTSA Athletics, brought to you by Cowboys A/C
Good morning, Roadrunners Fam. Fueled by a phenomenal 21-point Marcus Millender first half, the UTSA men’s basketball team (7-9, 1-2 AAC) squashed a losing skid and picked up their first AAC victory on Saturday by drowning the Wichita State Shockers (10-6, 0-3 AAC) in 15 triples.
Also on Saturday, the UTSA WBB team led wire-to-wire across a 69-51 victory over Wichita State at the Convo. The 'Runners are now 5-0 in league play, matching the 1983-84 squad for the program's best-ever start to conference action. Sophomore Idara Udo turned in a double-double with 11 points, while redshirt senior Jordyn Jenkins logged a whopping 21 points.

She was familiar with Pantherette greats Tiffany Jackson, Empress Davenport and Ariel Atkins, all of whom played for UTSA head coach Karen Aston at the University of Texas.
“I always heard that [Aston] loves the dogs,” Linton said. “If that’s my role on the team, I’m going to do it to the best of my ability.”
